Manaslu Circuit Trek 18 Days Overview:

The Manaslu Circuit Trek 18 Days has everything that a standard Nepal trek usually offers: wildlife, forests, rivers, suspension bridges, Hindu & Buddhist cultures, and majestic mountain ranges.

Many trekkers regard Manaslu Circuit Trek as challenging as the popular Annapurna Circuit Trek and Everest Base Camp Trek. However, in terms of popularity and number of visitors per year, it has much fewer. This is an advantage of trekking the Manaslu Circuit as it is less crowded and less expensive.

Another advantage is distance between the trek’s starting point and Kathmandu. It is much shorter than other treks that require a domestic flight or to the slightly further Pokhara.

Trekking the Manaslu Circuit used to involve camping in the outdoors as there were minimal teahouses along the trail. Fortunately, it has become a lot more popular these days with the many new teahouses since 2010. In fact, there are so many teahouses now that people are calling it a teahouse trek even. What a turnaround!

The highlight of this Manaslu Circuit Trek 18 Days is the trail around Mount Manaslu, the eighth highest mountain in the world (8100 meters).

Out of the 18 days of this Manaslu Circuit Trek Itinerary, 13 days are spent on trekking, while the rest is on transportation, city sightseeing, arrival into Nepal and departure from the country.
